Charlotte, NC ? Queen City's vibrant drag community is proving that drag is a powerful force for good. On Tuesday, March 11, some of Charlotte's most beloved drag performers will take the stage at NoDa Brewing Co. for "Drag With Purpose", a drag show benefiting RAIN and their mission to support people living with HIV.
Hosted by Buff Faye and Miss Charlotte Pride Erica Chanel, the event will feature performances by local drag artists, including Lulu Cavali, Venus Vertica, Tasia Dior, Mania, Vicki Vanity, Lilli Frost, Charlton Alicea, Venus Wyre, Giovanni D. Diamond, Ivy Carter, Dahlia Dialup, and Victoria C. Vohndalia. With beats by DJ Vanna Vanity, the evening promises high-energy performances, community connection, and a shared purpose: supporting RAIN's essential HIV/AIDS services.

Beyond the show, Charlotte's drag community is taking their advocacy even further by forming a team for RAIN?s AIDS Walk CLT, happening May 31, 2025. The team, Drag With Purpose, invites fans and allies to join them in raising funds and awareness for those affected by HIV/AIDS.
