June is recognized as National American-Caribbean Heritage Month
A weekend celebration of Caribbean Culture will begin Friday June 23rd, and culminate Sunday June 25th, 2023.
June is recognized as National American-Caribbean Heritage Month. Charlotte Caribbean Carnival will feature local artists, drummers, dancers and steel pan players. Attendees and passersby will enjoy a street parade featuring the best of Carnival inspired fashions, entertainment and arts; the Charlotte Carnival Queen would be participating in the parade. A highlight of the festival will be the Afro-Caribbean Village with vendors, dancers, and exhibits.
