In a unique joint venture, the local children's library and children's theater group created ImaginOn, devoted to literacy, drama, and creativity. This is the place to go to see a production by the excellent Children's Theater of Charlotte or to browse in the children's library. There's more: throughout the building are free kids' activities; costumed preschoolers dance around on a stage; and kids work together on clusters of computer workstations to choose props, costumes, and music, then record themselves reading a script for a short play scene.
