modern science and engaging interactive and
multi-media exhibits, explore how mummies
are created, where they come from and who they
were. Discover a never before seen collection of
rare mummies from across the world including
South America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and Egypt
that spans eons of time and transcends history.

A 6,420-year-old child mummy from Peru, one the oldest mummies ever discovered, joins an astonishing collection of mummies and related artifacts in the extraordinary exhibition Mummies of the World, which will debut at Discovery Place on November 11, 2011. The presentation will mark the fourth stop of the exhibition’s exclusive seven-city tour.
Mummies of the World, the wold’s largest exhibition of mummies and related artifacts ever assembled, presents a never-before-seen collection of naturally and intentionally preserved mummies. Presented with reverence and dignity, this compelling collection includes ancient mummies and important artifacts from around the world, some predating King Tut by more than 3,000 years.
