The 2009-2010 season marks our 21st anniversary of producing new and innovative professional theatre in Charlotte. It is the mission of Actor’s Theatre to present bold and innovative new works by contemporary playwrights. Last year we moved into our brand new facility and this season we will expand our repertoire to 6 new plays from Broadway, Off-Broadway and Regional Theatre. |

The Fillmore Charlotte is housed in a historic textile mill, and is themed in the tradition of the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco. The Original Fillmore has distinguished itself as a favorite among artists and fans alike because of the unique qualities of the theatre's ambience, feel and traditions. The Fillmore Charlotte features the iconic music venue's trademark decor, including red oak hardwood floors, red painted interior, vintage posters of legendary live music performances magnificent chandeliers throughout, state-of-the-art lighting and sound, as well as, stadium style tiers that create great sight lines from anywhere in the venue, a VIP area and more. The venue opened its doors in June of 2009. |

This popular, members-only concert venue hosts bands like Out of the Blue in addition to its in-house rockers who perform on the stage. Several country music concerts also take place here. Free dance classes are offered on ladies nights when women patrons can enter free of charge.
